The British School New Delhi

A prestigious international institution with a rich heritage

The British School New Delhi (TBS) is a not-for-profit international school that fosters a happy, safe, and multicultural environment for 1270 students from over 60 countries. Established in 1963 by the British High Commissioner, TBS initially operated in Defence Colony with just 30 students before relocating to Chanakyapuri in 1969.

The school follows the English curriculum, offering education to students aged 3 to 18, including the EYFS Programme, IGCSE, and the IB Diploma Programme. Over the years, TBS has earned numerous accolades, most notably being recognised as the "top British International School" in 2018 by BISA.

TBS boasts a state-of-the-art campus in Chanakyapuri, designed to foster both academic excellence and holistic development. The campus features modern classrooms equipped with advanced technology, dedicated science and computer laboratories, and an extensive library that supports research and learning.

Its remarkable sports facilities include a multi-purpose sports hall, a football field and a swimming pool, encouraging students to be balanced by engaging in physical activities. The music practice rooms, drama studios and art studios provide a creative outlet for students to explore their talents.

With lush green spaces and purpose-built areas for collaboration, the TBS campus creates an inspiring and dynamic environment where students thrive academically, socially, and creatively.
