MUN Teacher Co-Coordinator · Assistant Curriculum Leader (Social Sciences)
Ms. Archana Sohal is the Teacher Co-Coordinator for Model United Nations at The British School, New Delhi and the Assistant Curriculum Leader for Social Sciences. She leads and supports the development of TBSMUN by guiding students in research, diplomacy and debate while fostering a strong culture of global awareness and constructive dialogue.
The President of the Conference oversees the overall direction and vision of the conference. He works closely with the Secretariat to ensure that all aspects of the event run smoothly and maintain high standards. The President collaborates with the Secretary-General and Director-General, providing guidance and sharing priorities for the conference while supporting them in their respective responsibilities.
The Understudy to the President assists the President in various responsibilities and supports coordination within the Secretariat. They observe and learn the processes involved in managing a conference while helping with tasks assigned by the President and other senior secretariat members.
The Secretary-General manages the overall organization of the conference and leads the Secretariat. They coordinate between different departments, ensure planning and preparation are on schedule, and address operational issues that arise before and during the conference.
The Deputy Secretary-General assists the Secretary-General in overseeing the conference preparations. They help coordinate communication between departments, support logistical planning and help ensure that all teams are working efficiently.
The Director General supervises the academic aspects of the conference. This includes overseeing committees, guiding the preparation of study guides, and ensuring that debates maintain a strong educational and diplomatic focus.
The Deputy Director General supports the Director General in managing committee preparation and academic materials. They help coordinate with chairs and review committee content to maintain quality standards.
The Vice Director General oversees conference staff and ensures they are properly organized and prepared to assist during committee sessions. They coordinate staff responsibilities and help maintain efficient operations during the conference.
The Secretary of Production is responsible for the creative and visual elements of the conference, including promotional materials, graphics, delegate kits and other design-related aspects that contribute to the conference's presentation.
The Secretary of Administration manages administrative operations such as registrations, scheduling and logistical coordination to ensure that delegates and staff have the necessary resources during the conference.
The Vice Secretary of Administration assists with administrative tasks, helping coordinate registrations, communication and logistical arrangements to support the smooth functioning of the conference.
The IT Head oversees the technological infrastructure of the conference, ensuring that all digital platforms operate smoothly and efficiently. From managing the official website and digital systems to handling technical requirements throughout the event, he ensures seamless technological support. His role is vital in maintaining the conference's digital presence and operational reliability.
The Head of Photography leads the visual documentation of the conference. He is responsible for directing the photography team, ensuring that key moments, debates and events are captured professionally. His work plays a crucial role in preserving the conference's legacy and creating high-quality visual content for promotion and archives.
